Hi, I have a succulent plant that has been forming strange scabs on its leaves. [img=http://img484.imageshack.us/img484/7563/picture25234002ej2.th.jpg] Each raised scar would start out as a depression in the leaf, and I at first I assumed that my cat had been chewing on it, so I moved the plant out of his reach. [img=http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/6230/picture25234003zz6.th.jpg] But the slices in the leaves continued to form, and scar over. Sizes ranging from a line the entire length of the leaf, to many smaller scratches. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Need more info? I'm not sure of the plant's species either, if anyone can tell me, I'd be grateful for that as well! Almost looks like leaf-splitting due to overwatering. Something similar happened to a jade plant of mine; when I cut back on the water, it stopped happening to unblemished leaves.
Thanks for the reply, hopefully I can amend this problem then. I feel bad, though, thinking I caused this... guess I have to go apologize to my plant now...
