hi - i live in north vancouver and purchased some 5 gal pots of taxus at an end of season sale. i'm wondering if its too late to plant them now or if i should wait till spring? i'm assuming its better to dig a hole and plop them in even though its pretty frosty in the mornings right now. if thats all i do, should i leave them in their plastic pots, or take them out?

also, is it too late to transplant evergreen shrubs - taxus, boxwood?

    many thanks.
