Palm Springs. The few Queen Palms that I have planted were 5 gallon palms..quite large. they were healthy...then the frawns (spelling?) dwarf...new ones appear but are short....eventually the plant dies....when I dig them up the roots are in a small ball. Someone said that this sometimes happens with lack of water...oh well, they seem to be getting plenty of water. The only two palms that seem to be taking root and growing are those planted inside my lawn area....thus grass surrounding the palm. I've tried the palm food around the base of some of the palms...NOTHING HELPS!
