purple okanagan flower

    Hi,

    I am just moving to the Okanagan, and today I found this flower in a hayfield near Penticton. I am wondering if anyone knows what this is. I don't have a book yet, but will be buying one soon.

    Looks to be a Boraginaceae of some sort.
