Wildflowers: Purple Michigan Wildflower ID

    Can you please help me identify the wildflower in the attached photos?

    The photo was taken on August 5, 2016 at Shiawasee National Wildlife Reserve in Gennesee County, Michigan.

    The plant was in intense sun in undisturbed prairie. The plants stood about 3-4 feet tall.
