Purple Flowers and Stems, Green leaves. Ground Cover

    I see this plant around a lot and saw lots of it in the native garden section at U.B.C
    Thanks for help identifying it.

    Thank you very much. I always assumed this was a non native plant in our area, but when I saw so much of it in the native plant garden at U.B.C, I began to wonder what it was. I guess it is an non native plant after all. Sorry for posting this thread in the wrong section.

    It's a weed that is difficult to stay on top of without constant attention.

    I know. I cut it all down with my trimmer at one of the lawns I cut in Burnaby and ten days later, it's all grown back.
