Purple flowers and spiny leaves

    The both plants are rather perennial decorative flowers, not weeds.
    First - Aquilegia sp
    Second - leaves look familiar but do not recall name.

    Second looks like Spear Thistle Cirsium vulgare. Usually considered a weed.

    Probably, it is Cirsium. My first thought was about something like yellow horned poppy. But the latter is not so outrageously large and spiny.
