    Hi,

Can anyone identify these plants? They were all found at Burnaby Mountain recently:

Pictures 1, 2, 3: A shrub with purple, 5-petal flowers that mostly face downwards. Leaves are serrated and come in arrangements of 3.

Pictures 4, 5: Could this be a young maple? Maybe acer macrophyllum or acer circinatum?

    Thank you,

    Jason
