I have two jack o' lantern pumpkin plants and one Lunima plant. I havent been having any female flowers up until around the end of August.( I planted them around the beginning of June.) Now Ive only had three female flowers pop up. One died the other didnt grow to its full size and the last one I tried to pollenate but I think its dying. Another is on its way. Where is the pistil on these flowers?

I have had pumpkin vines growing for 90 days. I haven't seen one pumpkin? What does it mean that you tried to polinate them? How do you do that? I just tore out one of my non producing pumpkin vines because it was taking up too much space in my garden. I have one left but am not sure it's going to produce pumpkins. My butternut squash are plentiful but usually die by the time they get 2 inches long. Do you know if thats normal? They are wilting and dying. What should my watering schedule be?
    Thanks.
