This is my first apricot tree and I need help. We bought a 6ft apricot tree late last spring from a "reputable" nursery in the valley (I did send an email request regarding this issue but have not heard back from them yet). It leafed out and did well last year but produced no fruit; never saw any blossoms but it may have produced them before we purchased it. Now it does not appear to be breaking its dormancy. There is no sign of leaf or blossom swellings but a lot of sticky sap is running down all the branches . Should I be concerned? Thanks,
