Appreciation: Puffball

    Just a little puffball, no more than 3 cm across, but I thought it was cool how the soil formed around it. There were quite a few puffballs in the vicinity, but only this one had this "crown".

    Very interesting! It looks as if it grew somewhat larger while the soil was wet and then shrank as the soil dried.
