    Hi all

I received a packet of seeds listed as pseudotsuga menziesii from Apache Texus
I have sown the seeds and they have germinated however the seedlings are
sending out second needles. However the needles are not glaucous will the plants
become more glaucous? Also does p menziesii grow in the same area could these
seedlings infact be p menziesii or a hybrid?

    Thanks for any info.

Probably just natural variation. Not all Pseudotsuga menziesii subsp. glauca are strongly glaucous. The colour they are now, they are likely to stay, as it is genetically determined.
