    thanks for the info. I guess I should have asked this question before I purchased it but do you know how tall they generally grow. Could a top if off to maintain the height? Thanks, Monica

    no, you wouldnt technically be topping it, thats a generally unaccepted practice. You would be crown reducing it if you wanted a term for it. just reduce the stems that grow by a margin each year to maintain desirable height. try http://www.treesaregood.com for some good info and diagrams.
