Pruning Weeping Willow

    I have a two year old Weeping Willow that has suffered with the drought we have had in the last couple of years. Part of the tree is definitely dead and it is putting out shoots along the trunk and a few good limbs. Can I prune now? Or, do I need to wait until fall? Thanks, Katherine
