I'm trying to closely time the pruning of my very large Portuguese Laurel hedge, so that it will only grow just a few inches during the summer, after pruning. When is the best time for this? How much growth can one expect during the months of August and September?
If you aren't watering enough to stimulate continued flushing you may see hardly any regrowth after this point.
