Re: how can I help my Pony Tail Plant? I pulled some offshoots off of a friends Pony Tail Palm and was hoping to start a new plant. There were three shoots coming off the middle of the tree. I have had them soaking in water for about 10 days to see if they will form roots. I was wondering if I should just put them in a pot of dirt. Can anyone help??
When you say 'shoots', are there roots attached, or do you just mean leaves? I think seed might be more reliable.
