Hey Everyone, hopping we have a moss expert here. I'm trying to propagate "Hylocomium splendens." see a photo below. I know that these species sends out a shoot that will grow a new leaf of the moss but I haven't seen them produce a spore pod. I'm probably mistaken.

Does anyone know if they do produce of a spore pod? if so what time of year? if not do you have recommendations on how to propagate them or even clone them in agar?

    Cheers
