I have 3 yr old male and female plant. Can I take a clipping off the female to start another female plant ? My plants are well established inground.

by the way how do I find the response to my post ?

Kiwi vines are easy to propagate. Cuttings can be used during the winter, but the most reliable method that I know is to make tip layers during the growing season. Just take a low growing branch and bury part of it in the ground. I usually place a rock over the buried section to keep it buried in case of a disturbance to the above ground part. Pinch off the growing tip of the branch shortly after its emergence from the soil. You want growth to go into new roots and not into new growth above ground. I nick the below ground portion of the branch by slicing off a thin sliver of its surface and apply rooting hormone to the damaged part before burial. This may not be necessary, but it speeds up the rooting process. By fall you should have a rooted branch that can be cut off and transplanted anytime during the dormant season. Google "tip layering" for more information. This method should work 100% of the time.
