    Re: Clematis and sun requirements

I carefully collected all types of feathery seeds of my clematis. Can anyone advise me on how to start the seedlings do I put them in the pot directly, how deep in the earth?
I have a layer of coconut mulch on top as Clematis roots like it cool .. So do I simply put the seed under the mulch or say one inch in the earth or is it better to grow seedlings separately...?
I also recall someone telling me that Clematis seeds may NOT bloom in the same color Doing well are the White, pink, and dark purple... the pink are even nearly constant in semy shade and ok.
