Hi. I planted a Yasemin Maple tree about a month ago. We are in zone 6-7. Tulsa, OKlahoma, USA area. It was about 4 foot tall and really did very well for about 3 weeks, then all at once all the leaves dried up and it appears to be dead. What could have happened to it? Planted it in full sun from about 10-5 with shade in late afternoon. Well drained soil. We did have a really dry spell for a few days but we did water it. What did we do wrong? It was a very beautiful deep purple Yasemin Maple.

My Yasemin after planting 3 weeks previous before it dried up and looks to be dead.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. We are going to keep watering it and wait to see if it ever comes back. It has no leaves and breaks easily on branches right now.
