A corner of my yard has several bushes that were identified as Rubus. Several of the branches look dead and other look still alive, and are reddish but with a sort of white powder cover. Any idea what the white powder could be? What can I do about it? Thank you
If you have Rubus occidentalis it's supposed to have a whitish coating to the stems. Otherwise maybe your plants have some mildew on them. Either way, dead canes shoudl be removed.
