This little plant was half its size two years ago. I won it as a door prize at a Christmas party in 2005. It has been growing steadily since than and this summer I moved it from indoors to outdoors, in a sheltered area. In the last 2-3 weeks, some of the little branches are turning into brown. Is it sick? I water it only when it seems like it needs too. I don’t even know what plant is it or how much will it grow (if it will…)
Can anyone tell me how can I cure it or even what is it so that I can look it up on the internet?
    Thanks!

you have a chamaecyparis lawsonii, and a blue cultivar of it. it is hardy to zone 6 so im sure you can plant it out and it will be fine for the winter.

Yep, Lawson's Cypress (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana). It'll do better outside, but watch out for susceptibility to Phytophthora root rot.
