    It is surely a Rubiaceae... Coptosperma sp. or an Ixora sp.?

    I had considered Ixora...but rules it out as most flowers were 5 petals.

    Coptosperma...never hear of it.
    My first look on www I found this image.
    It seems to show identical very odd buds as image 6 in above leaf post.

    Narrow-leaved Butterspoon (Coptosperma supra-axillare) ยท iNaturalist.org

    I will continue to check it out.
    But on first glance I believe you have got it.
