I bought a beautiful 4 ft palm this past spring and kept it in the original plastic container. It has been thriving on my deck. I want to bring it inside (a room that's not heated at the back of my house with windows all around). Should I keep the plant watered or just let it go dormant?

Water well once the top 50% of the soil is dry. If you are keeping it in an unheated room then I may take a long time between waterings because of the cold. Too little water is better than too much.
