I was given a cutting of a concord grape vine early this past spring. It is potted in a terra cotta pot on my patio. This year it has grown quite a bit and produced one bunch of grapes. What should I do with for the winter? We experience temperatures as low as -30C. Should I plant in the ground or move it inside? This is my first time growing a grapevine. Any help would be appreciated.
Hmmm... well, there are suggestions on overwintering grape vines here: Growing Grapes for Home Use from the Univ of Minnesota Extension. There are instructions for overwintering grapevines in pots from North Dakota State Univ. Extension here: Questions on Grapevines (7th or so question)
