Pot plant identification - small purple flowers

    Hi there, I took this photograph in my parents' garden (In N Wales, UK) around April 4 years ago and would now like to know the name of the plant! They can't remember from my descriptions, but the photo shows one of its flowers (I've searched the forum and can't find any similar looking so far).
    Any ideas what it is?
