TAME is actually a great airline, too. If you know a tad about Ecuadorean culture, those ads are even neater - Loja, for example, is known for its musicians, particularly its guitarrists.

I believe this thread is called 'post a peek of yourself" Beth...

Where's your photo with your little costume, like the Ecuadorians in Vic's link?

I am shocked Beth, that you won't post that pic of you in the big yellow banana costume!

Well Daniel those are very sad tidings indeed, but I also appreciate all of your help and effort in developing what has become a home for me and I've made lots of great friends here and learned an awful lot from all of you. The flames of zeal for my garden have been stoked by you all and I have been motivated to try new things and new gardening practices. Thanksyou all for your pearls of wisdom that hopefully I can pass on to others when needed.

    Nath

PS: I can be reached at nathan_maskell@hotmail.co.uk for those who want to stay in touch.

Just because this forum is disintegrating, doesn't mean our friendships have to.

And actually, Vic, looking a bit closer at those ads, I know the guys in the Quito and Loja ones! Small country.

The Quito Botanical Gardens is online; they've got a pretty amazing collection. I think there are a couple in the South as well, but I'll have to scrub around for the links.

    Nice pics Sherry,

I was wondering about seeing if there is a way we can create our own forum and keep things going. I'm reasonably computer literate but not sure on this.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Greerish before me was the last person to register at Sheerme's forum...Gone to Seed,

Its Forumer and is maybe a bit restricted in what scripts etc can be posted. Maybe no HTML or access to the CSS file.

It can take many months from scratch to get a good forum going, at times it can feel a waste of effort but you must keep it updated or people will not visit.

There seems nothing much happened since last september.

    http://gone2seed.50.forumer.com/index.php?noportal=1

If you already registered you need to find your details.

No one answered my message..abeit a test message because I knew no one had been since sept last.

It could do with a theme at the minute its got the default theme.
