Hello, I spotted this flower in a vacant lot behind our townhouse. There are several plants growing in different locations on said lot and in different light and soil conditions. Some are out exposed to direct sunlight other are in the shade under a pine tree. Stem and leaves appear almost silver in color in the light. Thank you kindly Derek
They are short lived perennials so transplanting them may not work. They are very easily grown form seeds, so pick some when they are ready and scatter them where you would like them to grow.
If you see any small baby plants around the flowering one, then they will transplant very easily.......then wait for the flowering plant to go to seed and collect them and scatter them around where you want the plant in your garden.....they are bi-annuals, like foxgloves.....takes a season before the young plants flower.
