Someone brought this to work and knows nothing about it. It has a very strong scent that is a bit like a verbena. Interestingly two of the staff who are allergic to many flowers said that it did not bother them in the least. John .
It does look like D. odora. Based on the hint of variegation along the leaf edge, I would venture to guess it's the 'Aureomarginata' cultivar.
I just bought this plant yesterday at Garden Works in Burnaby. The scent is unbelievable and the flower looks exactly like what you submitted. It is called Daphne odora 'Aureo-marginata
