Possible Daphne

    Someone brought this to work and knows nothing about it.

    It has a very strong scent that is a bit like a verbena. Interestingly two of the staff who are allergic to many flowers said that it did not bother them in the least.

    It does look like D. odora. Based on the hint of variegation along the leaf edge, I would venture to guess it's the 'Aureomarginata' cultivar.

    yup, could be aureovariegata.. slight though. Wish I could smell the blooms!

    I just bought this plant yesterday at Garden Works in Burnaby. The scent is unbelievable and the flower looks exactly like what you submitted.
    It is called Daphne odora 'Aureo-marginata
