    For Canada Day, we walked down to the nearby park, and on the way back, I managed to steal the camera away from my wife long enough to take a few pictures. These aren't my plants, although I hope to get a plot there someday.

    The garlic seed heads are fantastic, they were bigger than a golf ball!

    The snake seed trailer (scapes) should be cut off. The bulbs will be noticeably smaller if the scape are left on the garlic. The scapes can be used similar to the garlic cloves, or even fried up and eaten. Chinese chefs consider the scapes a plus.
