I planted blue poppies from seed. I have no idea how they look when they start. do they look like the orange poppy with spiky leaves. Hate to pull weeds out in case i pull poppies out.
Spade shaped with reddish hairs. Seed needs to be fresh, if you bought a packet that may have been around for awhile perhaps you won't get any germination.
