ponytail seed pod?

hi everyone,
our ponytail is shooting some sort of seedpod out of the top!
i am not sure how to cut this as there are leaves growing on it as wel at the beginning.

thanks rima i tried to get into that site, but it doesnt seem te work!
i called it a seedpod but it look more like a tiny tree! i have a photo but i cannot get it small enough to send it!
