My cat started scratching on it a couple of years ago and a new plant grew of of the bulb, but there is no way I would feel comfortable cutting off, or trying to start it. I've had it since it was 2 inches tall 33 years ago, it grew to about 15 feet tall and I had to lay it on it's side for 2 years trying to figure out what to do with it, getting rid of my friend the plant is not an option, so I decide to cut the top off, and cried when I did, I put some wax on the cut and took it off in the spring, and to my surprise 5 shoots grew out of the top, I am delighted. But I need to know how to get new ones baby ones can anyone help????
