My pony tail palm has 3 babies growing uo it's trunk. Is it ok to pop them off and plant them? If so when do I know dto do so? Mary
Interesting. Do they have root buds on the offsets? If so, then you can likely remove them at any time. If not, then you may be able to get them to root by wrapping moist sphagmum moss around the base of the offsets, similar to an air-layering technique.
