Hello all, I have had 2 plumb trees in my front yard that I planted 10 or so years ago. They have mutured slowly and are only about 20' high. They are planted about 15' from each other and are located next to the road and no where near any other plants or trees. My problem is the 1st one got an infestation of aphids, I think and now the 2nd one has them but I don't see aphids nor do I know what they look like if I did see one/them. Now both trees are in trouble and loosing their leaves and now I also have theselittle bubps on the limbs 100's / 1000's of them that are round, the color of the bark and 1/8th of an inch in diameter. I can very easily remove these things and when I cut through them they oose purple goo. HELP. What is the process and what do I do 1st, treat the canopy and then the root system or what and what in the world are these things anyway. Thanks for any thing you can do for me. Chris in the Falls
