I just moved to so cal this year and have been put in charge of caring for the trees on 2+ acres. There is a plum tree that was doing great. Fruit was looking beautiful. All of a sudden the leaves and fruit are drying up. The tree looks like it is not getting any water but the soil is moist. Could it be the work of gofers? There are no other signs of disease or tramma to the tree. Can I save this tree?
