Pls help me out..

    This plant is grown is Asia in areas like Southern India.

    I am unable to identify the plant and to find its name. Please help me out to find its name.

    Could it be one of the eucalypts. Gum nuts after flowering and the leaves and trunk look like one of our inland type trees. How do squashed leaves smell?

    Thanks for all ur replies. i have asked people here and confirmed that its not eucalyptus.. The crushed leaf feels some what sticky. There is no special type about the smell. Normal greenish smell is there.

    Thanks for ur interest David.. But it does not have any yellow flowers as in Acacia auriculiformis..

    I agree with David in L A, Acacia of some sort.
    Most likely it's just finished blooming and will have
    yellow flowers again at some point.
