Pls help identifying this plant

    image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg I have this plant into my balcony for two years; it appeared from nowhere! Would you pls help identifying it (is it a lemon tree)

    It actually looks a bit like Citrus, not sure of species. Could be Fortunella spp if you saved any of those seeds. Any of those plants can grow from seed, but I believe they all have to be quite fresh and not dried out for a day or more to be viable. If you think someone may have dropped a fresh lemon seed, then that's most likely what it is. But it could be grapefruit or kumquat or lime or any of those fruits with only these pictures to go by. The bark, the petiole or leaf stem, the new growth would all be useful to ID this. If you want to try pinching a bit of one of the lower leaves, at certain times of the year you can smell what type of citrus it is. I don't think Fortunella species do that, or not that I've noticed.
