Red Rose with BURNT edges. Starting my first Rose Garden, Southern California, inland, last week we had temperatures in the mid 90's, red rose bud looks burnt, I think it was the heat but not sure. I also bought a white JFK rose which has been very slow, it only has a few leaves while the red one is already flowering, Can someone advise please? It has direct morning sun and partial sun in the Afternoon, they are planted close to a big pine tree which cools down and shades the adjacent area.
