Identification: Please someone identify my plant

    Hello. I was given this plant as a birthday gift a few months ago, but neither I nor the giver know the origin of this plant. I hope someone can help me identify this plant. Thanks in advance.

    it is Philodendron or more popular name heart leaf philodendron
    monstera deliciosa has bigger leavs that look like thoracic cage the following is monstera or thoracic cage plant

    The leaves on your plant are not splitting, either because the plant is still too young (unlikely, from the apparent size in the picture) or because the plant is not receiving enough light. My plant took a few years to begin producing split leaves, and a lot of the reason for that was because I didn't give it any direct sun: once I did, it began to split.

    I am 98% certain that what you have is Monstera deliciosa.

    FWIW, the OP's plant has one split leaf, the one left of the sofa corner towards bottom right of the picture.

    monstera leaves are larger and fewer in number on the same plant
    please search the web for images of both plants Monstera and Philodendron
    may be u get third answer !!!

    Yep I think Monstera due to the split as JK has correctly pointed out
