Hi all, I found an unusual pink flower in my garden. I haven't seen anything like this before and haven't been able to figure out what it's called. Please help me identity it. thanks! Dee
Looks like Schlumbergera sp. In Britain it is a common houseplant which generally flower at Christmas. So has been given the common name Christmas cactus. It stands a heck of a lot of neglect. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=S...XC7ga-1oHoDw&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAQ&biw=1536&bih=770 https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=c...uR7AaQkIGYDg&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAQ&biw=1536&bih=770
Similar ones are probably present at outlets there during flowering time, up here they are everywhere during the holiday season - even supermarket floral departments.
