please identify

    this was picked up underneath an unknown conifer can you please tell if they are seeds and to what type of tree thank you

    Might be an old male cone, if it came from a conifer, or a catkin from something else.

    Pollen cone from a cedar. Can't tell between Deodar or Lebanon, they're not distinguishable; a photo of the foliage would identify the species.
