Please Identify

    I have a tree leaf here and am trying to identify what it is. I was hoping for some help. I was told it could possibally be pear? But it is probably something more common than that. I am in Calgary...that might help in figuring out what it is. Here is a picture. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

    At this moment there is nothing. No fruit, no flowers, just leaves. Perhaps some type of Elm?
