This succulent id now in full bloom in my garden here in Pretoria, South Africa. I have only recently moved to South Africa from Baltimore, Maryland, and am still unfamiliar with most of the plants that live here. Can you help? Thanks!

I may be wrong.... It looks like a Delosperma (ice plant).

As I can't see the leaves, I'll take a guess it might be a Drosanthemum speciosum
or a type of Delosperma dyeri like ‘Psdold’.

Thank you Bluewing and Rosemarie. I'll take a photo of the leaves for you tomorrow.

I saw this plant in a book on succulents in the local bookshopyesterday, quite by accident - it's Drosanthemum hispidum!

    Thanks for your input!
