In The Garden: Please Identify this plant

    Could anyone please help me identify this new plant I found in my garden. There are visible cotton and a spiral on the top. Thank You

    Possible Epilobium sp.
    The visible cotton and spiral on the top are the seeds.
    It is a weed. Best remove it asap. Better still if you see another remove it before the seeds form.

    Agree with Epilobium, probably Epilobium montanum, a very common garden weed in Britain.
