    Hello,

This plant grew in one of my raised beds. I tend to keep cute weeds, so I moved it into a container and now it is blooming. Does anyone know what it is? Thanks.

    Hi.

I agree with you about growing certain weeds such as this one which is a particular favourite of mine. The leaves turn a beautiful red later in the year. Unlike my particular problem volunteer, bluebells, which is very invasive and hard to eradicate geranium robertianum is very easy to control as it is easy to pull up.

I know many would disagree and of course not all weeds are native and are invasive but my belief is that the more "wild plants" we allow to grow the better it is for the environment. They are often beautiful in their own right and usually need less care.

    Enjoy.

Your statement makes sense if by "wild plants", you mean native plants, and if your definition of "weed" is an introduced plant species.
