This plant was given to me at "Friends of the School" Plant Sale at the state fair and I've spent the last 2 years trying to figure out what it is! Could someone please help me Identify this plant using the pictures and clues below. I check this forum daily so please post any questions here. Thanks in advance! Clues: This plant is a perennial surviving cold Minnesota Winters. This plant produces several small yellow flowers. (about 2" diameter) The yellow flowers produce several pedals (similar to a daisy) It's not Comfrey because Comfrey produces purple flowers.
Re: ID this Minnesota Plant Try again later when in bloom. If coming back after the winter it is a perennial. Annuals complete their life cycle within one year, hence "annual".
Re: ID this Minnesota Plant Does it flower at all? It deos look a lot like Cunfrey from the leaves, that would die back each year too and then produce new growth. A bit difficult to tell without more information. Nath
Re: ID this Minnesota Plant Sorry that should have read Comfrey, never type and watch the tennis at the same time!!
Re: Please identify this Mystery Plant It looks an awful lot like Yacon (Smallanthus sonchifolius) to me. Compare
