Please identify pod from vine

    I have a flowering vine in my backyard that everyone says is fuchsia, but I can't find anything that looks like the pod picture I have attached. They just opened up today and are 4 -6" in length.

    In general we don't recommend sampling unidentified plants -- but I'm guessing you tasted this one after the ID.
