In The Garden: Please identify plant with large,tubular, red flowers

    3ft tall herb . Showy, large 2" long flowers, folded concertina-like in bud. Leaves alternate, toothed, blade runs down petiole to the stem. See attached photo. Appeared without invitation in Maryland coastal-plain garden
