    Hello,
"Wrinkles" has been with me for 4 years, starting from 4 little winkly leaves. Wrinkles is now quite "tall" and does not stand upright without some string pulling. Recently there has been a little side plant next to it. Tugging very gently does not remove it.

The plant has tubular leaves with crinkled edge, all coming from the main stalk. No side branches. The stalk is uniform in thickness from top to bottom, and sprouts tiny copper coloured "armpit hairs" around each leaf tube. Plant does not seem to grow upward naturally.

Can someone please ID Wrinkles so I can look up proper care for this plant?

Euphorbiia of some sort... no idea which one, though.

    thank you very much Lorax,
I googled for euphorbiia and most of the specimens seem to have flat, smooth leaves

which lead me to think of searching for "velvet leaf succulent"!!
I did not think that was a "rare" trait.

It seems that Wrinkles is a Adromischus cristatus, the "Crinkle Leaf Plant" (*smacks head* DUH >..> )

now to look for a "cure" for Wrinkles being too tall and falling over =(

More light will usually help the legginess - but since that will only work on the little sprout, I'd suggest propping Wrinkles up with a chopstick or some similar utensil (I've used plastic forks before.)
